Delivery of a new Bomber and Hitch Rack to Steve

Meredith and I spent our last Sunday delivering a new Bomber off road handcycle to Steve.  Along with the Bomber, we built Steve a custom hitch rack for his new handcycle.  Check it out!

Well, just got home from Moab, UT, testing the new Bomber RS (rear suspension).   What a smooth smooth ride.  Check out the UNEDITED vid.  Most pics and vid to come.   This is Poison Spider trail.  Super gnarly.

New Brake Lever for Off Road Handcycle

Spent the late afternoon and night working on a prototype brake lever that folks with limited hand function (specifically limited grip strength) could use.  The proto is archaic but the idea shows some promise.  

Powder Day

It was a good day, maybe not productive but good.   Chad made good headway on the new carbon fiber nordic seat.  Can’t wait to see how the first layer looks tomorrow.   I started on the hitch rack for Steve in Telluride.   This rack will hold his new Bomber (off road handcycle from ReActive Adaptations) as well as Telluride’s One Off’s.   BUT progress came to a halt because the snow was flying and we had to take advantage of the new powder on the mountain, priorities!

SHOP TALK:

just completed sit ski carts for the adaptive sports center and mike browne.  they turned out well and the new latch mechanism works like a charm. with the huge amount of lessons the ASC seems to have online casinos these days, our sit ski carts are going to be used a lot!

congratulations to  Ann Yoshida who just purchased a Bomber, our new off road handcycle!  it just arrived in carson city nevada and it”s on it”s way to hawaii in just a few days.  eventually Ann and her  Bomber will make their way to korea for the next year.   congratulations ann and good luck!   have a great time riding your beautiful new off road handcycle.
